Taste of Omaha – June 6-8, 2008

I had a great time kicking off June Dairy Month at the Taste of Omaha Festival. It was a lot of fun meeting new friends and spending the weekend outdoors at our beautiful location overlooking the Missouri River. The live entertainment was fantastic, as was all the delicious food, of course. At the Roberts Dairy booth, people traded in their Taste of Omaha tickets for yummy soft-serve ice cream and refreshing To Go Lemonades – perfect for cooling off on these hot, humid days. There were plenty of tempting dishes available at the festival, and while it doesn’t hurt to enjoy trying a bit of everything in moderation, I’m still committed to maintaining a healthy weight. And, I enjoy spreading the word to kids and their parents about the role that dairy plays in keeping a healthy diet. Check out these great photos of me greeting my new friends at the Taste of Omaha festival:
