Apple-Cinnamon Salad

Ingredients

1 package (3 ounce) cherry-flavored gelatin
1/4 cup red cinnamon candies
1 cup boiling water
1 cup cold water
3 apples, peeled, cored and diced
3 stalks celery, diced
1/2 cup pecans or English walnuts
3 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Roberts Whipping Cream

Preparation

Combine gelatin, red cinnamon candies and boiling water; heat until gelatin dissolves and candy melts. Stir in cold water; chill until slightly thickened. Fold in apples, celery and nuts. Pour mixture into a 9 X 9 x 2 inch baking dish; chill until firm. Beat cream cheese until smooth; add mayonnaise and whipping cream, blending thoroughly. Spread over top of salad.
