Apple Coffee Cake

Ingredients

3 medium apples
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup Roberts Butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 Roberts Egg
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup flour
1/2 cup Roberts Milk
1 cup Roberts Whipping Cream

Preparation

Pare, core and slice apples; place in a buttered 8 x 8 x 2 inch baking pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon; dot with half of the butter. Beat together remaining butter, sugar and egg; stir into sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk, blending well after each addition. Pour mixture over sliced apples. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes, or until top springs back when touched lightly. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pan. Whip whipping cream until soft peaks form and serve on warm cake.
