Bacon-Cheese Fondue

Ingredients
6 slices bacon
1/4 cup sliced green onion
2 teaspoons flour
1 pound shredded sharp
American cheese
2 cups Roberts Sour Cream
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
Fry bacon until crisp and set aside; reserve 1 tablespoon pan drippings. Saute sliced onion in reserved bacon drippings until tender and transparent. Gradually stir in flour, blending until smooth. Mix in shredded cheese, sour cream and Worcestershire sauce. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until cheese melts. Pour mixture into fondue pot. Crumble bacon and sprinkle atop fondue mixture. Serve with bread cubes, mushrooms or warm boiled potatoes.
Yield: 6 to 8 servings
