Baked Pineapple

Ingredients

1 can (20 ounce) pineapple chunks
1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon pineapple flavoring
1 cup dry bread crumbs
2 tablespoons Roberts Butter

Preparation

Drain pineapple, reserving liquid; mix together pineapple chunks and grated cheese. Combine flour and sugar in a saucepan; add pineapple liquid and pineapple flavoring. Heat and stir until well-blended. Spoon the pineapple-cheese mixture into an 8 x 8 x 2 inch baking dish and cover with sauce. Sprinkle bread crumbs over top and dot with butter. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes, or until lightly browned. Especially good served with ham.
