Baked Pineapple Rice

Ingredients

1 cup uncooked rice
2 cups drained pineapple tidbits
1/4 cup Roberts Butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup pineapple juice

Preparation

Cook rice according to package directions. Place one-third of rice in a well-buttered baking dish; cover with one-half of the pineapple tidbits, dot with 1 1/2 tablespoons butter and sprinkle with 1/4 cup brown sugar. Repeat layers, placing the last one-third of rice on top. Pour pineapple juice over all. Bake, covered, at 350° about 1 hour.

Yield: 6 servings
