Baked Pork Chops

Ingredients

4-6 pork loin chops
1 Roberts Egg, beaten
1 cup dry bread crumbs
2 tablespoons Roberts Butter
2 tablespoons shortening
2 medium onions, chopped fine
1 apple, pared and chopped
2 teaspoons chopped parsley
salt to taste

Preparation

Dip each pork chop into beaten egg, then into bread crumbs. In a skillet, brown pork chops on both sides in melted butter and shortening. Place pork chops in an 8 x 8 x 2 inch baking dish; sprinkle with chopped onion, chopped apple, chopped parsley and salt. Pour a small amount of water in baking dish. Bake at 400° for 30 to 40 minutes.

Yield: 4 to 6 servings
