Banana Bars

Ingredients
1/4 cup Roberts Butter
1 cup sugar
2 Roberts Eggs
2 cups sifted flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup mashed banana
1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 cup chopped dates, optional
Preparation
Cream butter and sugar together well; add eggs and mix thoroughly. Gradually add sifted dry ingredients alternately with mashed banana to creamed mixture. Fold in lemon and vanilla extracts, chopped nuts and dates, if desired. Spread mixture in a buttered 15 x 10 x 1 inch baking pan. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes. Frost while warm with Confectioner's Frosting. Cool and cut into 1 1/2 x 3 inch bars.
