Banana Cake

Ingredients

3/4 cup Roberts Margarine
2 cups plus
2 tablespoons sugar
3 Roberts Eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups flour, sifted
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups Roberts Buttermilk
2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas

Preparation

Cream margarine and sugar together well; add remaining ingredients all at once. Beat 3 minutes at medium speed of electric mixer. Pour batter into a buttered and floured 9 x 13 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake at 275° for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours, or until a wooden pick inserted in center tests clean.
