Ingredients
3 ripe bananas
2 eggs
1 ½ cups sugar
1 cup Roberts Sour Cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
Whipping Cream:
1 cup Roberts Whipping Cream
2 tablespoons sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla
Preparation
Mash bananas and add eggs, sugar, sour cream, vanilla, flour, baking soda and baking powder. Mix together (I usually stir at least 100 strokes with a fork). Pour into lightly greased (can use Roberts Butter or baking spray) 12x15 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes. It is done when the toothpick is brought out clean. For the topping, combine whipping cream, sugar and vanilla in a chilled bowl. Beat with the chilled beaters of an electric mixer on medium speed till soft peaks form. Serve atop the cooled cake. I like to take a 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon and sprinkle on the whip cream before serving.
