Bread Pudding

2008 Holiday Recipe Contest Entry

Ingredients

2 c. Roberts Skim Milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 c. dried bread cubes
2 tbsp. margarine
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. raisins, optional
2 slightly beaten eggs

Preparation

Scald milk in a small pan. Pour over the bread cubes and cool slightly. Combine sugar, beaten egg and salt and finally the vanilla and pour this over the bread mix too. Add margarine and raisins. Pour into a lightly greased pan and bake at 325 for about 45 min. in a pan of hot water, or until done. when the custard is set.
