Broiled Grapefruit

Ingredients

3 grapefruit
6 tablespoons sugar
salt
cinnamon
1 tablespoon Roberts Butter
fresh fruit

Preparation

Wash grapefruit and cut each in half. Loosen each section by cutting down along each side of dividing membranes and around outer skin. Sprinkle each half with 1 tablespoon of sugar, dash of salt and dash of cinnamon. Dot each half with about 1/2 teaspoon butter. Arrange grapefruit on broiler rack and broil about 4 inches from heat for 8 to 10 minutes, or until grapefruit is heated through and very lightly browned around edges. Do not overcook. Garnish with fresh fruit.

Yield: 6 servings
