Cherry Bars

Ingredients
1/2 cup Roberts Butter, softened
1 1/4 cups flour, sifted
3 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 Roberts Eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1/2 cup chopped maraschino cherries
Preparation
Mix together butter, 1 cup flour and powdered sugar; press mixture in a buttered and floured 8 x 8 x 2 inch baking pan and bake at 350รป for 25 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over baked pastry. Bake an additional 25 minutes. Cool and cut into 1 x 2 inch bars.
