Cherry Supreme

Ingredients

1/2 cup Roberts Butter, softened
1 cup sifted powdered sugar
2 Roberts Eggs
1 cup vanilla wafer crumbs
1 cup Roberts Whipping Cream
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup chopped maraschino cherries
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation

Cream butter thoroughly, gradually adding powdered sugar. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition until fluffy. Line a well-buttered 9 inch square baking dish with half of the vanilla wafer crumbs; spoon butter mixture over wafer crumbs. Refrigerate until firm. Whip whipping cream until soft peaks form; fold in nuts, cherries and vanilla extract. Spoon whipped cream mixture evenly over top of butter mixture. Top with remaining vanilla wafer crumbs. Freeze until firm; cut into squares to serve.
