Chicken 'n' Noodles

Ingredients
1 stewing chicken (5 pounds), cut up or 2 broiler-fryer chickens, cut up
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Bouquet Garni Homemade Noodles
Preparation
Place chicken in a large Dutch oven; add water to cover; season and add Bouquet Garni. Cover; bring to a boil and simmer 2 to 2 1/2 hours, or until tender. Remove chicken to serving bowl and keep warm. Cook Noodles in broth according to Basic Pasta directions, omitting salt and butter. Spoon cooked noodles and desired amount of broth over chicken before serving.
Yield: 5 to 6 servings
