Cinnamon Rolls

Cookbook

Ingredients

Basic Sweet Dough
1/4 cup Roberts Butter
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup pecan halves
1 cup Cinnamon Sugar

Preparation

Prepare a single recipe of Basic Sweet Dough, After the first rising, divide dough into thirds; shape each into a smooth ball; cover and allow to rest 15 minutes. Combine butter, corn syrup, brown sugar and pecan halves in a saucepan; heat until butter melts, stirring occasionally; set aside. Roll each third of dough to a 10 x 12 inch rectangle; sprinkle each with 1/3 cup Cinnamon Sugar. Roll dough from the long side as for jelly roll. Cut each roll into 1 inch slices. Place about one-third of the brown sugar mixture in each of 3 - 9 inch round baking pans. Arrange rolls, cut side down, on top of the brown sugar mixture. Cover and allow to rise in a warm place until light, about 20 to 30 minutes. Bake at 375° for 25 to 30 minutes, or until nicely browned. Cool in pans for 10 minutes; invert onto plate.
