Ingredients
4 c. washed cranberries
1 c. Robert's Orange Juice
1 orange
1 small pkg. lemon or lime gelatin
2 small red apples, washed
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. hot water
washed lettuce
salad dressing
Preparation
Peel the orange and remove the white membrane. Cut it into pieces and remove seeds. Wash, cut and core apples removing seeds as well. Wash and drain cranberries removing any bad ones. Put all the fruit into the food processor with the shredding blade. Pour off the juice and save it. Add water from this juice to make 1 cup. Heat 1/2 c. water to boiling in the microwave pyrex cup. Dissolve the sugar in this hot water and stir to mix. Add the gelatin to the hot water and dissolve that as well. Then pour all the drained fruit into the mold or ring and pour the dissolved sugar and gelatin on top of that and stir it. Let it set in the refrigerator until firm and serve it on a bed of washed and patted dry lettuce leaves. Makes 6 servings.
