Crusty Tomato Halves

Ingredients

6 medium tomatoes
2 tablespoons Roberts Butter
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
1/3 cup fine dry bread crumbs
2 tablespoons Roberts Butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon MSG
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Preparation

Rinse tomatoes well; cut each in half crosswise. Combine softened butter and prepared mustard; spread over cut surface of tomatoes. Mix bread crumbs, melted butter, salt, MSG and pepper together; sprinkle over tomatoes. Place cut side up on broiler rack. Broil for 7 to 10 minutes, or until lightly browned.

Yield: 6 servings
