Date Bread

Ingredients

1/2 cup molasses
1 ½ cups Roberts Milk
1 egg
1 cup pitted dates, chopped
1 cup flour                    
1/2 cup molasses
1 cup whole wheat flour    
1 ½ cups whole bran cereal   
2 teaspoons baking powder            
1/2 teaspoon baking soda                  
2 tablespoons Roberts Butter, melted 

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8 1/2x4 1/2x2 5/8 inch loaf pan. In a food processor, chop the dates, add egg, molasses and mix again. Gradually add the dry ingredients and finally the milk. Pour batter into the greased loaf pan and bake 60 minutes. Brush the melted butter on top and let stand on cooling rack.
