Fried Fruit Turnovers

Ingredients

2 cans refrigerated biscuits (10 count)
1 can (21 ounce) fruit filling
oil for frying
powdered sugar

Preparation

Separate biscuits and roll each into an oval shape about 5 inches long. Place about 1 tablespoon fruit filling on half of each oval; fold dough over filling and seal edges together with a fork. Deep-fry, turning once, at 375 about 1 minute, or until golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper; sprinkle with sifted powdered sugar. Serve warm.
