Ingredients
1 package (3 ounce) lemon-flavored gelatin 1 package (3 ounce) orange-flavored gelatin 2 cups boiling water 1 1/2 cups cold water 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1 can (20 ounce) crushed pineapple 2 bananas, peeled and sliced 1 cup miniature marshmallowsTopping
2 tablespoons flour 1/2 cup sugar 1 Roberts Egg, beaten 1 cup reserved pineapple liquid 2 tablespoons Roberts Butter 1/2 cup Roberts Whipping Cream, whippedPreparation
Combine gelatin; dissolve in boiling water; stir in cold water and lemon juice. Chill until slightly thickened. Drain pineapple, reserving liquid for Topping. Fold crushed pineapple, banana slices and marshmallows into gelatin mixture. Pour into a 9 x 13 x 2 inch baking dish and chill until firm.Topping
Mix flour and sugar together in a saucepan; stir in beaten egg, reserved pineapple liquid and butter. Cook until thickened stirring constantly; cool. Fold in whipped cream and spread over chilled gelatin salad.Recipe Contributed By: Mrs. Tom Mondello Omaha, Nebraska
