Fudge Brownie Squares

Ingredients

1 cup Roberts Butter
4 squares (1 ounce each) semi-sweet chocolate
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup flour, sifted
1 3/4 cups sugar 4 Roberts Eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation

Melt butter and chocolate together in the top of a double boiler over simmering water; cool. Stir in chopped nuts. Mix flour and sugar together in a separate bowl; stir in beaten egg and vanilla extract; add to chocolate mixture, stirring just until blended. Pour mixture into a buttered and floured 15 x 10 x 1 inch baking pan; bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool and cut into 2 inch squares.

When baking brownies or chocolate cake, shake cocoa in the buttered baking pan, instead of flour.
