Fudge Frosting

Ingredients

1 cup sugar
1 square (1 ounce) unsweetened chocolate
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup Roberts Milk
1/4 cup Roberts Butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation

Combine sugar, chocolate, salt and milk in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally; boil 1 minute. Remove from heat, add butter and vanilla extract and beat until of spreading consistency.

Yield: frosting for 1-9 x 13 inch loaf cake

Notes:

Decorate an unfrosted cake layer quickly and attractively by placing a doily over cake and sifting powdered sugar over the top. Carefully remove doily and—Voila!
