Holiday Cut-Out Cookies

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups (3 sticks) Roberts Unsalted Butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 1/3 cups all purpose flour

Preparation

Beat butter and sugars in a large bowl until fluffy. Beat in egg, vanilla and salt. Add flour and mix until blended.

Divide dough in half, cover each with plastic wrap and refrigerate 1 hour. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Roll out one of the halves on a floured surface to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut out shapes using floured holiday cutters. Place 1 inch apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes until edges are golden. Cool slightly and place on wire rack. Frost.
