Ingredients
3/4 cup uncooked hominy grits
1/2 cup Roberts Butter
1 roll (6 ounce) garlic-flavored cheese spread, grated
3 Roberts Eggs, separated
dash salt
1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation
Cook grits according to package directions. Remove from heat; add butter and grated cheese spread; cool. Beat in egg yolks, 1 at a time. In separate bowl, beat egg whites with salt until stiff; fold into hominy mixture. Bake in a lightly buttered 1 1/2 quart baking dish at 325° for 1 hour. Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese over top and bake 10 minutes longer. Serve hot.
