Honey-Fruit Bars

Ingredients
1/2 cup Roberts Butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 Roberts Egg
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup Roberts Buttermilk
2 1/2 cups flour, sifted
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/4 cup raisins
1 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup flaked coconut
Preparation
Cream butter and brown sugar together well; add egg, honey and buttermilk. Gradually stir in sifted dry ingredients, raisins, chopped walnuts and flaked coconut; mix well. Spread mixture in a buttered and floured 15 x 10 x 1 inch baking pan. Bake at 375° for 20 minutes, or until top springs back when touched lightly with finger. Frost while warm with Confectioner's Frosting (page 341). Cool and cut into 1 1/2 x 3 inch bars.
