Lemon Dessert Sauce
Ingredients
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 1/2 cups boiling water
1 teaspoon Roberts Butter
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
1-2 drops yellow food coloring
Preparation
In a saucepan, mix together sugar and cornstarch; gradually stir in boiling water and cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Add butter, lemon juice, lemon extract and yellow food coloring, stirring until well-blended.
Yield: about 1 cup
