Preparation

Prepare pastry for a double-crust pie; place half in a 9 inch pie pan. Place 3 cups Homemade Mincemeat in unbaked crust. Or combine 1 jar (28 ounce) prepared mincemeat and l 1/2 cups diced pared tart apples and place in unbaked crust. Cover with remaining half of pastry; flute edge. Bake at 425 for 40 to 45 minutes.

Yield: one 9 inch pie
