Molasses Cookies

Ingredients

3/4 cup Roberts Margarine
1 cup sugar
1 Roberts Egg
1/4 cup molasses
2 cups flour, sifted
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon salt

Preparation

Cream margarine, sugar and egg together well; add molasses. Combine flour with remaining ingredients; gradually add to creamed mixture, blending well. Shape dough by rounded teaspoonfuls into balls and roll in additional sugar. Bake on ungreased baking sheets at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.

Yield: 5 dozen
