Orange Pecan Pork Chops

Ingredients

12 small whole onions
6 thick pork loin or rib chops
2 tablespoons Roberts Butter
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/4 cup orange marmalade
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup chopped pecans
2 tablespoons finely chopped candied ginger

Preparation

Boil onions in water for 10 minutes; drain. Brown chops quickly on both sides in hot butter; place chops and cooked onions in a shallow baking pan. Sprinkle chops and onions with seasoned salt. Combine orange marmalade, honey, pecans and candied ginger; pour over chops and onions. Bake at 350° for 1 hour, or until chops are tender. If necessary, add hot water to prevent drying.

Yield: 6 servings
