Pan-Fried Catfish

Ingredients

4 dressed catfish
Roberts Milk
seasoned bread crumbs, cracker crumbs or
cornmeal
Roberts Butter

Preparation

Dip each catfish in milk and then into bread crumbs, cracker crumbs or cornmeal. Melt butter in skillet (should be 1/8 inch deep); saute fish over medium heat until nicely browned, about 4 to 8 minutes on each side. Serve immediately.

Yield: 4 servings

Notes:

Dressed fish are scaled and eviscerated; the head, tail and fins may be removed or left intact. Prepare dressed fish by baking, broiling, frying, poaching, steaming or grilling.
