Peanut Brittle

Ingredients
1 1/3 cups water
3 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups light corn syrup
1 teaspoon salt 2 1/2 cups raw peanuts
1/4 cup Roberts Butter
1 1/4 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
Preparation
Cook water, sugar, corn syrup and salt to soft ball stage (238°); add raw peanuts and butter and cook to soft crack stage (285°). Remove from heat; add an additional 1 teaspoon water, vanilla extract and baking soda. Mix well and pour onto a buttered baking sheet, quickly spreading very thin. Cool and break into pieces.
