Perfect Vanilla Custard

Ingredients

4 Roberts Eggs
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups Roberts Milk, scalded
cinnamon

Preparation

Beat together eggs, salt and vanilla extract, gradually adding sugar. Continue to stir egg mixture while slowly pouring scalded milk into mixture. Pour mixture into a 2 quart baking dish that has been rinsed with cold water; sprinkle with cinnamon. Place baking dish in a shallow pan and pour very hot water in pan to a depth of 1 inch. Bake at 325° for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a knife inserted in center tests clean.
