Ingredients

8 ounces ground beef
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 can (8 ounce) tomato sauce
2 cups buttermilk baking mix
1/2 cup water
1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
oregano

Preparation

Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet; drain. Stir in tomato sauce and set aside. Mix buttermilk baking mix and water until blended; knead about 1 minute on lightly floured board. Divide dough in half and roll each half into a 10 inch circle. Place on lightly buttered baking sheet and crimp up edge of dough. Spread half of meat mixture on each circle; top each circle with half of shredded cheese and a sprinkling of oregano. Bake at 425 for 15 to 20 minutes, or until crust is lightly browned. Serve immediately.
