Pizza Burgers

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 can (4 ounce) sliced mushrooms, drained
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1 can (8 ounce) tomato sauce
6 hamburger buns
4 ounces Cheddar cheese, grated

Preparation

Brown ground beef; add onion and cook until tender. Stir in mushrooms, spices and tomato sauce. Spread beef mixture on halved buns and top with grated cheese. Place under broiler until cheese is bubbly and melted.
