Poppy Seed Coffee Ring

Ingredients

1/2 cup Roberts Margarine
1 cup sugar
3 Roberts Eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups sifted flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup Roberts Buttermilk

Filling
3 tablespoons Roberts Butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
2 1/2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons poppy seed
3/4 cup chopped walnuts

Preparation

Cream margarine and sugar together thoroughly; add eggs and vanilla extract. Combine dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk. Prepare Filling.

Combine all ingredients thoroughly. Layer half of batter in a well-buttered and floured 10 inch tube pan; cover with half of Filling; repeat layers. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes, or until top springs back when touched lightly.
