Potatoes Anna

Ingredients
6 slices bacon
4 cups thinly sliced potatoes
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Preparation
Cut bacon slices into 1 inch pieces and brown in a skillet, reserving drippings. Layer bacon and potatoes in a buttered 2 quart baking dish, overlapping potato slices in each layer about 1/4 inch. Sprinkle each layer with salt, pepper and bacon drippings; pour remaining bacon drippings over top layer. Bake at 425° for 45 to 50 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and golden brown.
