Raisin Sour Cream Pie

Ingredients

1 pie shell
1 cup chopped raisins
1 cup sugar
3 egg yolks (save egg whites for meringue)
1 cup Roberts Sour Cream
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients and pour into the pie shell. Bake 40 minutes until custard is set. While pie is baking, prepare meringue by beating the egg whites in an electric mixer until stiff peaks occur (about 7 minutes). Add 1/4 cup white sugar to the mix and continue beating till peaks are formed. When pie is done, top with meringue and set under broiler for a few minutes until meringue is light brown (about 2 minutes). Be careful meringue doesn't burn; check often.
