Raspberry or Strawberry Sauce

Ingredients

2 cups washed raspberries or hulled strawberries
1/4-1/2 cup sugar

Preparation

Gently toss berries and sugar together well; allow to stand 2 hours in refrigerator, stirring occasionally. Serve with unfrosted cake, ice cream or shortcake.

Yield: 2 cups
