Salisbury Steak

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup water
salt to taste
1 can (2 ounce) mushroom pieces, drained

Preparation

Divide meat into 4 or 5 equal patties; pan-broil, turning to brown both sides. Remove patties from skillet. Combine flour with water; add to drippings in skillet. Stir and cook until thickened. Season with salt; add mushroom pieces. Place patties in gravy and simmer 15 minutes.

Yield: 4 to 5 servings
