Savory Cheese Bread

Preparation
Grate 8 ounces of Cheddar cheese and soften at room temperature for 4 hours. Mix together grated cheese, 1 cup Roberts Butter, softened and 1 envelope (0.7 ounce) dry garlic-flavored salad dressing mix, blending thoroughly. Cut 2 loaves of French bread vertically in 1 inch slices; spread cheese mixture on each bread slice. Wrap each loaf in aluminum foil and place on baking sheet; bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes, or until thoroughly heated.
Yield: 2 loaves
