Scalloped Potatoes and Ham

Ingredients
1 pound fresh or smoked ham
4 whole cloves
3-4 potatoes, sliced
1 medium onion, sliced
2 cups Medium White Sauce
1/4 teaspoon chopped green pepper
Preparation
Cut ham in 4 slices and insert 1 clove in each piece. Cover bottom of an 8 x 8 x 2 inch buttered baking dish with one-third of the potatoes, 2 pieces of ham and one-half of the sliced onion; repeat layers and top with remaining potatoes. Pour White Sauce over top and garnish with chopped green pepper. Bake, covered, at 350° for 1 1/4 hours, removing cover for last 45 minutes of baking time.
