Spaghetti Dinner

Ingredients
Sauce
1/2 medium onion, chopped
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 can (6 ounce) tomato paste
5 cups water
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon basil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon salt pepper to taste
Meatballs
1 pound ground beef
2 Roberts Eggs
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1/2 cup grated Romano cheese
dash garlic salt
salt and pepper to taste
Roberts Butter
Preparation
Sauce
Brown onion in hot oil over low heat. Stir in tomato paste and water, mixing well. Add seasonings. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer slowly 3 hours.
Meatballs
Mix first 6 ingredients together thoroughly; shape into balls about the size of golf balls. Pan-fry in butter until well-browned on all sides; drain. Add to sauce and simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
Serve over hot cooked spaghetti. (See Basic Pasta)
