Sweet 'n' Sour Coleslaw

Ingredients

1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup cider vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon celery seed
1 medium head cabbage, shredded
1 medium onion, sliced
1 cup sugar

Preparation

Place oil, vinegar, salt and celery seed in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Remove from heat and cool. Toss cabbage, onion and sugar together; pour cooled dressing over vegetables. Chill at least 3 hours.
