Ingredients

Sauce for Sweet-Sour Short Ribs 2 broiler-fryer chickens (2 1/2 pounds each), cut up

Preparation

Prepare sweet-sour sauce, reserving pineapple chunks for future use. Place chicken pieces, skin-side down, in a buttered shallow baking pan; brush pieces well with sauce. Bake at 425° for 30 minutes, brushing often with sauce. Turn chicken pieces over; bake an additional 30 minutes, brushing chicken pieces every 10 minutes with sauce.

Yield: 6 servings
