Tempura Sauce

Ingredients

1/2 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons sake
1/2 cup water
1/4 teaspoon freshly grated ginger root
1 teaspoon sugar
green onions, sliced

Preparation

Mix soy sauce with sake and water. Add ginger root and sugar. Bring to a boil; cool. Serve sliced green onion in a separate bowl.

Yield: 1 cup

Use for Tempura.
