Tomato Relish

Ingredients

20 tomatoes, peeled
6 onions, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
6 stalks celery, chopped
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups cider vinegar
1 1/2 tablespoons salt

Preparation

Combine all ingredients and cook for 2 to 2 1/2 hours, or until thick. Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal.

Yield: 9 half-pints
